This policy explains what personal information we collect from you, why we collect it and what we do with it. It is written in terms of the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (“POPIA”).

2. What we collect

We only collect what we need to get your parcel to you:

• Your name
• Your contact number
• Your email address, if you order by email
• Your delivery address, or your chosen PUDO locker
• Your proof of payment, which shows the name on your bank account and the amount paid

We do not ask for and do not want your card details, your online banking login, or your ID number. Please never send those to us.

3. Why we collect it

• To confirm and process your order
• To match your payment to your order
• To address, dispatch and track your parcel
• To contact you about your order, or a problem with it
• To keep a record of the sale, as required for tax and accounting

4. Who we share it with

We share your name, address and contact number with the courier — PUDO or The Courier Guy — because they cannot deliver your parcel otherwise. That is the only routine sharing we do.

We do not sell your information, and we do not give it to anyone for marketing purposes. We may disclose information if the law requires us to.

5. Marketing

We will only send you marketing messages if you have asked us to. If you have, you can tell us to stop at any time by replying on WhatsApp, and we will stop.

6. How long we keep it

We keep order and payment records for five years, which is the period South African tax law requires. Delivery details are kept for as long as needed to deal with any query about that order, and then removed.

7. How we protect it

Orders come to us over WhatsApp, which is encrypted in transit, or by email. Order records are kept on password-protected devices and accounts. This website does not take payments and does not store your personal information — no card details are ever handled on this site.

If your personal information is ever accessed by someone who should not have it, we will tell you and the Information Regulator, as POPIA requires.

8. Cookies and tracking

This website does not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies or analytics that identify you. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google's servers receive your IP address in the ordinary course of serving that request.

9. Your rights

Under POPIA you have the right to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct anything that is wrong
• Ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep
• Object to us using your information for a particular purpose
• Complain to the Information Regulator

10. Children

This shop is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to place the order.

11. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
